At Holophane he has an irrepressible drive for new product development with technology that matters and delivers value to customers. In his current role he continuously strives to ensure product developments are built on customer requirements.
He has a degree in Marketing as well as a Post Graduate from the CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing).
Stefan has over 6 years of experience in the lighting controls market as Export Manager and Product Manager. He has an irrepressible drive to move markets with technology that matters and reduce energy waste. In his current role he continuously strives to create new relevant product-market fits.
He has a master’s degree in International Business from RSM Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Simon trained as an electrical engineer and has been working within the building services industry for over 15 years. He is now the managing director at Urban Jungle Energy & Engineering where he leads a team of experienced, fresh-thinking, dynamic, innovative chartered mechanical and electrical consultants and technology integrators.
Prior to this he was the electrical engineering manager at Sainsbury’s where he was responsible for the specification of lighting systems throughout the estate. He studied building services engineering at the University of West of England and has a masters degree in research from the University of Salford.
He is currently studying for his professional doctorate, which will investigate the impact of installing high CRI LED luminaires on product sales within the retail environment.
John joined Lux as applications editor at the beginning of 2016. He founded Equation Lighting Design in 1986, working on all types of architecture, including heritage, museum, and retail projects. In 1998 he moved to Dorset and established John Bullock Lighting Design, carving out a new reputation working on residential projects, mainly in the South West. He has written for the lighting press for many years and played an active role in producing lighting commentary on his own website and in social media.
Gordon Routledge is co-founder of Revo Media Partners – the publisher of Lux and Lux Review – and has over 17 years’ experience in the lighting industry. In 2001 he founded Lumidrives, which he led until it was bought by Dialight in 2006. Gordon then went on to develop Dialight’s global lighting business unit.

An engineer by background, Ray Molony has written about lighting for over 20 years. He is the editor of Lux Review and the publisher of Lux magazine. He studied electrical and electronic engineering at Dublin City University and worked on various projects in the defence industry.
He’s the co-author of the acclaimed book, Light: Reinterpreting Architecture, which was published by Rotovision in 2001 and translated into numerous languages. His current obsession is reclaimed luminaires.
